Chairman of BAHA, Martin Hudson explains what benefits BAHA can offer to Activity Centres who join the trade association for independent centres. Martin explains what BAHA does, how many members it has and how it works with national bodies to represent its members across the sector. Highlighted new developments include the way that the BAHA Centre Inspection Scheme can now offer participating centres the Adventuremark badge and the LOtC (Learning Outside The Classroom) Badge. Both of these badges will increasingly be a requirement for schools booking trips to activity centres. Martin Hudson was interviewed by Andrew Bird from Outdoorstaff at the 2009 BAHA Conference which took place at Boreatton Park, Shropshire on 17th November 2009. The British Activity Holiday Association (BAHA) is the trade association for private sector providers of activity holidays and courses in the UK.
